SUMICERAM®-P -Heat resistant paint-

SUMICERAM®-P is a heat resistant paint, and it forms high chemical resistant and water resistant coating.

Features of Product

  • High heat resistant, chemical resistant, water-proof, and abrasion resistant coating is obtained.
  • It cures at a low temperature (200-300°C).
  • No noxious fume is generated when coating is formed.
  • The surface of coating is ceramic-like and has an excellent hardness.
  • It bonds strongly many kinds of inorganic materials.

Precautions

  • Use it quickly after mixing. There are 2 components (powder / liquid)and 3-liquid type.
  • It is either acidic or alkaline. Put on protective equipment such as goggles and gloves.
  • Thoroughly degrease the surface of material before coating (burning or alkaline degrease)

Storage conditions

Store it in a cool and dark place. Use it before its shelf life.

Points of concern

  • Except a few items, they have no flexibility, so they are not suitable for applications which require flexibility or impact resistance
  • No air tightness
  • Not usable for resins or plastic materials
